Alok, Krosis. [Arise, Krosis. - Wilhelm]

[Wilhelm Bear-Heart]

Wilhelm readied to take another swing at the priest when suddenly something wizzed by his head. He looked over just as Arya lost consciousness. That wasn't good. He needed to help her, but he had to deal with Krosis first. His train of thought was instantly derailed at the sound of another shriek. Wilhelm looked back at the ancient mage, the arrow had gone into the eye slit of his mask and punctured the brain, however, do the the mummification, he felt all the pain of dying as his body disintegrated into a pile of ash, the armor and mask clanked down beside it. He picked up the staff and mask before running over to his fallen comrade where he began to dress her wounds.

[Arya the Unseen]

Some hours later, Arya let out a small groan, showing that she was awake. Her eyes fluttered open, taking a moment to adjust to the light. She tried to sit up too, but found herself unable to move in the slightest without pain. That and breathing was a little difficult from rapid smoke inhalation. "Wil...helm?" She said in a slightly raspy tone, hoping that her friend was alright.

[Wilhelm Bear-Heart]

"I'm here." He said as he leaned over her. "I'm not the best with Restoration, so I wrapped the wounds. This cold air has slowed the blood flow quite a bit. Here, let me get you a potion." He rummaged through his pockets and produced a larger healing potion.

[Arya the Unseen]

She gladly accepted the potion, but had a hard time drinking it. When she did though, it helped enough for her to sit up. Pain still coursed through her body, but it was not as bad now. "Thanks. Glad to see that my moment of stupidity didn't get you killed." She chuckled, looking over at him with a weak smile.

[Wilhelm Bear-Heart]

"Stupidity? Nonsense, you did what you were best at. It's not your fault the environment wasn't conducive to your style." he shrugged as he helped her up.

[Arya the Unseen]

"I suppose." She said as she got up. It took her a second to do anything, because the pain sharped when she got up. It dulled away quickly though, allowing her to go on. "So how did you kill him?"

[Wilhelm Bear-Heart]

"My kill? You're mistaken, it was your arrow that landed the killing blow. Apparently, the eye slits are wide enough for an arrowhead to pass through." He reached around to the rock behind him and picked up the items. He held them out to her. It was Krosis's mask/cowl and his staff. "Would you like your trophies?"

[Arya the Unseen]

"Huh." She said, surprised as she took the staff and mask. "I actually made that shot? I figured it was just going to be a distraction, or hit you. I mean, I know I'm a good archer, but I didn't think I was THAT good."

[Wilhelm Bear-Heart]

"Apparently you are. If did miss, however, I was only one swing away from lopping the dried up bastard in half. Congratulations, you beat me to the chase."

[Arya the Unseen]

She laughed and put on the mask, adjusting it to sit comfortably. "Well, how does it look?" She asked, smiling behind the mask. "I've heard all these masks have enchantments. I wonder what this one does."

[Wilhelm Bear-Heart]

"Hmm, let's see. If my memory serves, it should enhance your archery, alchemy, and lockpicking skills." said Wilhelm, running some fingers through his beard as if deep in thought.

[Arya the Unseen]

"Archery? That's wonderful, since I am an archer." She said in a happy tone. Then she looked off the side of the mountain once more. "Well, thank you for helping me fight him. I probably wouldn't have survived otherwise. I owe you one."

[Wilhelm Bear-Heart]

He waved his hand, as if to say it was alright. "It was I who was repaying a debt. You saved me back in the stone city. It doesn't help that those rotting bastards are hard enough to fight by themselves, let alone with a dragon."

[Arya the Unseen]

"I saved you because I consider you a friend. I couldn't just stand by while you bleed to death." She said, taking the mask off and smiling. "I keep talking, but I'm sure you have something to be doing. Dragon hunting or Word finding. I'm not used to having such important friends. I'll see you again sometime?"

[Wilhelm Bear-Heart]

He slipped his own mask off and looked tiredly off to the side. "Yeah, something like that." He was thinking of the trouble that Pointy-Ears was probably in. "I'm not that important. I'm just a Nord looking to make some extra coin. Divines willing, this won't be our last meeting."
