Location: Riften, The Ragged Flagon Cistern, Home of Skyrim's Thieves' Guild.
Time: Around 8 pm.
Raziah wasn't fond of the Ratway when she was carrying her hard-earned spoils. Too many scumbags that inhabited the Ratway that would try to steal it from her. Oh irony of ironies.
So she always took the entrance hidden in the the Riften graveyard, ensuring no one saw anything. Tonight she was loaded down with items nicked from Markarth during a Bedlam job. She had an excellent story surrounding how she had managed to get her hands on the Jarl's circlet, and absolutely couldn't wait to tell the others.
Opening the cover that led to the Cistern, she jumped down, landing perfectly before standing and dusting herself off. She took off her Guild hood, the Jarl's circlet hanging haphazardly around one Khajiit ear, she strode proudly and confidently into the Cistern.
"Honeys, I'm home!" She announced happily to who ever was sitting in the Cistern.

Oh, you seem lighter now, could it be because I've got what you don't?

"Y'know, you're not very quiet for a thief, Raziah." said Ja'Remy, one of the three Officers of the Guild. He was leaning against a wall near the secret entrance. "How went the job in Markarth, hopefully you didn't disappoint."

Raziah smiled mischievously as she turned to face Ja'Remy, ears swiveling towards him, causing the circlet she wore on her head to shift a bit. Raziah put her hands on her hips, respectful of her commanding officer but unable to get the sheer joy and confidence of a job well done out of her system, not yet.
"What I do and how loud I am off the job, in the Cistern, is none of your concern," She stated, creeping close and gently kissing his nose. She rarely had any respect for personal space, especially among those who she knew well.
"And what does this little beauty tell you about how well the job went?" She asked, pointing to the circlet that rested on her head. "The Jarl will be a bit miffed when he finds this pretty thing missing. Can I keep it, Ja'Remy, can I, can I?"
Her eyes were wide and child-like, tail waving slightly in kittenish glee.

His eyes narrowed when she kissed his nose. "No, you cannot." he said with a bit of spite. He never really got over his wife's passing, never allowing himself to appreciate the females of his race because of it. "You know that illegally gained goods are never good to keep around. You need to go pawn it off, as well as the rest of your plunder, to our fence in the Flagon." He got up from the wall and walked over to the center of the Cistern, looking up at the light coming down from the well directly above.

Raziah pouted slightly as she took the circlet off of her head, holding it in her hands and lightly playing with the cool ring of metal in her her hands. Running a finger over the large ruby in the center.
"Doesn't go with my coloring anyways," she stated, shrugging Ja'Remy's words off. She followed him at a leisurely pace, pulling out a stolen sweetroll from a pouch and starting to eat it, contemplating things.
"You know... sometimes I think I'm the only one in this Guild that knows how to have any fun. The rest of you are so uptight. Never had no intention of not selling off the loot. But, oh darling daddy must make sure the youngster does what she's supposed to," Raziah stated, shrugging as she walked towards the actual Ragged Flagon.

Her words didn't phase him. He had seen too many younger members die because they weren't careful, or they were too sure of themselves. He sighed before he sat on the lip of the centerpiece. He had been too harsh on her. No one in their organization knew about his wife's death, and Raziah was a good thief. He'd apologize to her when she got back.

Raziah sold off her items quickly. She always had a good eye for value, and thus had only taken the most valuable items that Markarth's Jarl's Quarters had to offer that she could carry easily. So, no weapons, nothing large. She had learned that the Court Wizards always had the best stuff. She parted with the circlet last, haggling for a good price for it. She would be fed for a long time thanks to this job.
Raziah entered back into the Cistern, much lighter now that she had sold off all of her hard earned, non-edible items. Lightly, she plopped down next to Ja'Remy, offering him a Honey Nut Treat she had nicked from Markarth.
"You know I'm all talk and more action, Captain. You really do need to lighten up though," She stated.

The male Khajiit lowered his hood when the female sat next to him. He shook his hand at the treat she offered him. He looked at the ceiling of the Cistern. "Raziah, I apologize for earlier. This organization, our Guild, is like a second family for me. I've seen too many younger members die because they weren't careful, or they were too sure of themselves. You have a lot of promise, and I don't want you to be like the others. Oblivion, you might even make it to Officer one day if you keep it up." He smiled before continuing. "You've almost got me respecting you, as a matter of fact." He pulled his hood back up before standing. "You remind me a lot of her." he muttered, barely audible.

Raziah shrugged as she took the treat and started to eat it herself. She hadn't eaten much over the last few days while traveling back to Riften so she was rather ravenous. She probably had one of the biggest sweet-tooths among the group. Sweetrolls topped her list of favorite foods. Finishing the first of the three sections of the Honey Nut Treat, she gently nuzzled on his shoulder.
"You have to trust me, Ja'Remy. I know what I'm doing when I'm on the job, but I reserve the right to be as silly and playful as I want when it's my time," Raziah stated. She smiled lightly at his words about turning into an officer. "I don't know if I'm cut out for a leadership role... I'm good on my own, but..."
Lightly, she glanced at him when he said she reminding him of someone. That wasn't something she got often, "Oh?"

He stepped uncomfortably away from her when she nuzzled his shoulder. "Being an officer isn't all sending others out on jobs, we get our fair share of work as well. If anything changes, its the respect we get, and this snazzy armor, of course." He popped his neck a few times before answering her. "What do you mean 'oh?'"

She made no move to get close to him again, noting how he seemed uncomfortable being touched. She had enough sense not to push such matters. Raziah chuckled gently, listening to what he had to say, but at the same time knowing that her own strengths didn't lend well to leadership.
"Yeah, but you have people looking to you for guidance and advice, I don't know if I'm the best kind of person for that sort of thing," Raziah stated, nibbling at the second piece of the honey nut treat. "And you mentioned a her... anything you wanna talk about?"
Raziah wasn't about to press the matter, but she as a thief and thieves had a bad habit of not letting interesting or interesting-seeming information get away unlearned.

His gaze left her's, becoming distant, as if he was peering into a far away land. His expression almost completely changed, becoming more melancholy than his usual face. "N-no, it's nothing." He clearly didn't want to talk about it. He internally beat himself to a pulp. He knew better than to bring her up in conversation, on purpose or not.

With a gentle hum, she placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Hey... if you ever do need to talk, the least I can do is listen. You listen to us bitch all the time, it's only fair, right?" She said smiling. "You play the big, tough captain all the time. That can't be easy on you."
She was being truly sincere about that. In Raziah's view, if you didn't take time to have some fun, or to get big issues off your chest they just festered and rotted, bringing you down.
"You're not really my type, 'Remy, but if you need it I can always warm your bed for a night or two, gods know you probably need it," Raziah stated bluntly with a sly smirk.

Her hand startled him back to Nirn. "I thank you for the offers. I think it's that I've been down here for the last week or so, busy helping out the Guildmaster, you know how it goes." He sighed inside his own mind. He probably did need company in his bed. It had been empty since his love was murdered. He just never felt the same since she was so quickly taken from him. No matter what he stole, or how dangerous the job was, he could never fill the pit inside his very soul. He was sure that she'd want him to find another to make him happy, he just couldn't bring himself to do it.

Raziah shrugged lightly, finishing off the last bit of her honey nut treat, smiling as she lightly jumped down to splash in the water pooling in the Cistern, looking up at Ja'Remy with a mischievous glint in her eyes.
"Oooookay, but the door's open if you ever want it," she stated. Raziah was friendly, perhaps too friendly for a thief, but it was part of her nature, what helped to make her so unassuming while she was out and about. Few people suspected a friendly, bubbly individual to sneak around and take things that didn't belong to her. It was all in how well you could fool people.
Raziah's tail lazily flicked as she leaned down to wash her hands off of any sticky residue. She hummed lightly as she thought about what she would make for her proper dinner once she headed home. It was either that or pop over to the Bee and Barb for food and drink.
