Location: Shriekwind Bastion Time: 12:32 am It was dark, cold, and raining. Not exactly what she wanted for a recruitment adventure. Still, she needed to do this. There was no hope of defeating Nidhug and Alduin without a larger army. "Dwiiroksil. When we get there, I need to to go in first. Those wretched blood-suckers won't have as much an effect on you." She said, looking over at her Deathlord companion.

He growled and nodded in compliance. The scarred Draugr looked up at the sky, which dropped water upon his dried out body. He followed his lord 'til they reached a winding path. "There." he groaned, lifting a long-dead arm, pointing with a shriveled finger to the North entrance of the fortress.

"Yes. That seems to be the entrance. Go in and clear out the first one or two rooms, then come get me. I'd rather not be a vampire. Not yet anyway." She said, approaching the overhand and leaning up against a wall. "And please don't get killed. You are currently my best warrior and I'd like to keep you around."

The Deathlord bowed slightly before pushing open the doors. He walked in a few feet when Thrall attacked him. He quickly raised his shield and bashed the slave, pushing him back. "FRO, KRAH DIIN!" he Shouted, freezing the enslaved man, killing him. He drew his Ebony Sword and continued. He kicked open a barred door, causing the occupants, two vampire females to rush at him. When the first one reached him, he drove his blade deep into their throat, then sliced toward the side, cutting across the other's chest. As the wounded vampire kneeled in pain, he brought the sword down on her neck, sending her head rolling across the room. "Clear!" he shouted back to Sahruvaak.

The Nord strolled in casually and looked around. "Very good, Dwiiroksil." She praised, walking up to him. Looking around, she noted the several open sarcophagi and no Draugr in them. "This place should have some good Draugr, don't you think?"

He nodded as he looked around. He saw several passageways. He sniffed the air, smelling the rotting dead inside. He motioned for her to follow him as he moved down the one to their left. He pushed open the door and several lesser Draugr looked up at him, almost confused. He lifted his sword above his head. "Submit!" He roared, needless to say, none did.

She walked in behind him and attempted to pour her life essence into them. However, they resisted and she sighed. "Stubborn ones... Beat them down." She said with a slightly annoyed tone. She hated being resisted. It bothered her.

He sheathed his sword as he groaned in compliance. The other Draugr came at him, weapons drawn. "ZUN, HAAL VIIK!" he Shouted, knocking the ancient weapons away from the attacking bonewalkers. He then began to shield bash them and beat them with his fists and headbutts. Several of them dropped to a knee, submitting to his strength. However, a Scourge continued to defy him. The Scourge threw a fist at Dwiiroksil, only for him the catch it and pull the enemy into a punch of his own. Still holding his fist, the Deathlord brought him back for a knee to the chest. As the Scourge lay beaten on the ground, Dwiiroksil stopped a foot into its chest, keeping it down.

"Ah, much better." She said, once again pour her life force into them. This time, they were to tired and injured to resist. They gladly accepted it and returned to a standing position, ready to do her bidding. "Begone. Back to Ragnvald with you." She ordered. They instantly took off toward the entrance with a growl of acknowledgement. "Now. Shall we go on?"

He nodded in agreement. He led the way into a multi-layered room. He noticed a Vampire at the top of the room issue a command and several Skeletons began to rain arrows at them. He quickly got between them and blocked the projectiles from reaching his lord. "Cover." he growled.

Sahruvaak didn't hesitate to step back into the hall they had come from. She was no ranched fighter, that much was obvious. That's why she enjoyed traveling with Dwiiroksil. He had been with her long enough to know that and was always ready to defend her from rangers.

He stepped back into the hall with Sahruvaak. He peaked out only to duck back in as several arrows clinked off of the corner. He growled angrily. He devised a plan for them to safely make it into the next area. "I Shout, you follow." he said as he took in a breath. "Fus..." he said the first Word before stepping out of cover to let loose the rest. "... RO DAH!" The force knocked the lower Skeletons back and the incoming arrows out of harm's way. He then hugged the wall underneath the bottom tier and used it to cover his movement into the next room.

She followed him quickly to the next area, keeping to the wall. When they got to safety, she turned to him and smiled. "Good thinking. I approve." She said simply before turning back to the path before them. "Come. We still have a lot of ground to cover."

He acknowledged her praise with a softer growl. They moved ahead, eventually coming to a locked door. Dwiiroksil heard voices from the other side and formed a plan. He turned toward his mistress and gestured for silence. He knocked on the door and waited for the footsteps to be on the other side of the door. He then kicked it open, smashing the Thrall into the wall beside it, knocking the wind out of her. The Vampire turned just in time to get a sword brought down through his shoulder. As he laid bleeding to death, the Draugr walked over to the downed Thrall and slowly pushed his blade through her back, killing her slowly and painfully. He then turned back toward the Vampire, who was inching away. He kicked his ribs, sending him a few feet. The Deathlord walked over and growled one last time before stomping the Vampire's head into a bloody mess.

She silently watched Dwiiroksil's massacre with an eerie, amused smile. Once he was done, she approached, clapping softly. "You never cease to amaze me. Oh, it's a wonder you aren't a higher rank." She once again praised. This time, when she turned to proceed, she simply motioned for him to follow.
