Annalynn returned in no time with one of the claws that opened the puzzle doors. It's claws were a deep green and it had three animals on its palm, dragon, wolf, and owl. "Sovlai, dear, do you think this could be it? It would certainly make sense." She said, smiling.

Ande didn't exactly remember Sovali or any of the teachers very well since he did not come to the College to learn magic, but he had forgotten just how quick and forward the Destruction Master was. He leaned over to look at the dragon claw when it was brought out, eye flicking over the key and its markings. This was far too exciting to pass up,
"Would you mind if I came along? These chambers usually contain a carved wall with a Thu'um."

"Hmm, the symbols on the palm look correct." answered the Dunmer as she took the claw, looking it over. She looked over at the eager Dragonborn. "Well, Ande, that's not up to me. It's the Arch-Mage's expedition."

"Yes, Ande dear, you may come. After all, you are the only one here that can much use of the Word." Annalynn said, giving Ande a smile before turning her attention to Sovali. "This is exciting don't you think? For a couple years now we have searched for this and may have finally found it."

Ande smiled, "Thank you, Annalyn," and nodded slightly, eyes on her as he thanked her. Immediately after though, his eyes went straight to the dragon claw, "It wasn't far, was it? Could we leave now?" his tiredness was forgotten in the face of adventure. He would be safer traveling with two other mages as well, so they could move faster through the ruins.

Sovali smiled at his eagerness. It had been long since she saw such a sight, since she had such an eagerness about her. Back before she left Morrowind, back before the Oblivion Crisis. She shook the memories out of her mind. "It's in Falkreath Hold," she began, handing the claw back to the Arch-Mage, "and we can leave whenever Annalynn is ready. Before we leave, however, I'd like to leave my husband a note letting him know where we went."

"Of course Sovali." Annalynn chuckled. "I wouldn't dare dream of trying to pull you away without him knowing. Oh how I envy you, dear. I long for the day when I meet the man of my dreams." A longing, almost sad look crossed the Arch-Mage's eyes for a moment, but she shook it away. "I digress. I would like to cook for the three of us before we leave. Feel free to go get prepared, then meet me up in my quarters. We shall leave after we eat."

Ande's eyebrows shot up a little. Falkreath was on the other side of Skyrim, and would be quite a walk. They would need to cross two mountain ranges in order to get there. He would need to pack like he was leaving again, which wasn't much strain, "Ah, right. I had almost forgotten about eating," he chuckled and smiled, "Give me an hour and I will eat with you two."
He turned to head back for the Mage's quarters, back to his undoubtedly dusty room in order to begin packing and then wash up from his previous journey. Packing itself didn't take long, since he already knew exactly what he would need. In fact, bathing took the longest because it had been a while since he had access to making hot water. He soaked for longer than normal before getting out and dressing as quickly as possible, making sure to dry off first.
He wound up packed and ready to go in the kitchen, quite prepared to have some food before it was officially served (if he could get away with it).

The Lady Veren had already been in the kitchen, investigating the fruit cupboard when Ande arrived. "Hmm, it seems we're running low on green apples and Jazbay grapes." she commented before closing the doors and taking a seat. She lowered her hood, letting her deep red hair hang down her back, awaiting the Arch-Mage's legendary cooking skills to be put to the test.

Annalynn walked in from the back, carrying a few ingredients. She gave a smile when she saw Ande and Sovali sitting there. "It seems I have an audience. I promise it wont take long dears." She laughed, laying out her ingredients and started to work on preparing the food. It didn't take long for all the delicious smells to join together and fill the room.

Ande smiled with good humor at Sovali, lifting both hands before himself, "Wasn't me."
He sat down at the table when Annalynn arrived, waiting patiently for the food to be served. When he began to smell the cooking, his stomach rumbled and groaned to remind him exactly how long it had been since he ate a substantial meal, let alone a home-cooked one.

The Destruction Teacher chuckled slightly at the younger elf's joke. She whiffed in the delicious aroma and smiled. "Smells good, as always, Anna." She then turned her attention to Ande. "So, how's your work with the Destruction School coming, Ande?"

Annalynn gave Sovali a smile before taking more ingredients to the pot of stew. No one ever knew how she made this stew, nor did they know exactly what was in it. However no one asked, as they were usually too busy stuffing their face.
Finally, it was done and she began to pour it into bowls, handing it to her friends before getting one herself and sitting down. "You've never tasted my cooking, have you Ande?"

Ande smiled back at Sovali, "It's not as center to my attention as it used to be. But it's still thriving," he assured her, "And I could use some help with it,"
He turned to Annalynn when she asked him if he'd tried her cooking, "Ah, no actually. I am probably your worst student here since I didn't come for training and am hardly ever present in the College. But I have heard it's legendary," he assured her, sitting up when the bowl was set down in front of him. When he tried it both of his eyebrows perked and he stared at the soup, "What do you put in here? I wish I could cook this while on the road."

"I'll give you a few pointers on some spells while we're on the road." she offered the younger Altmer. She took her bowl and took a few sips. "It tastes just as good as it smells, if not better." After she finished about half of her bowl she commented on Ande's own comment. "Nonsense, you are out in the real world, you are using your magic where it would be best. We are glad when you come back, it let's us know you're alright. In fact, and I'm sure you'll remember this Anna, we used to have a Nord student here. She was quite the Conjuration prodigy and was usually down by the Sea of Ghosts practicing. Is any of this ringing a bell, Arch-Mage?"
