The Silver-Blood Inn wasn't very busy today, the Khajiit Legate noted as she threw the doors open and approached the bar. Her spot was empty, just as Kleppr usually kept it, and the only other person at the bar was a large Bosmer sitting just the next stool over. Still, she didn't say anything, she just sat down and waited for her drink.
Kleppr sat her half tankard of Alto Wine and a bottle of Black-Briar mead in from of her and went on about his business. The cat nodded her thanks and poured the mead into the half-filled tankard, swishing it around to mix it up. After a moment, she gave it a sip and looked straight a head, her eyes seemingly locking onto the fire at the back of the room.
Finally, after another drink or two, without looking over at him, she decided to speak to the Bosmer beside her. "You know, you are a whole lot of Wood Elf."

"Yup," he said before taking a sip of his ale mixed with Jazbay Grapes, "I get that more than you'd think." He looked at the Khajiit that had spoken to him. "You're bigger than most Khajiit women I've seen, by the look of you you're a Sellsword."

"Imperial Officer." she corrected, taking another drink. "Legate S'kvari. You too look like a sellsword, yet I'm going to guess that that isn't true. Oh and, a few inches taller and you would remind me of my friend Wilhelm."

"An Imperial Officer, and a legate no less. Hmm, wouldn't of guessed, since most officers don't were Elven armor. As for what I do, well, I earn a living doing what must be done." Leaving it at that. He sighed once before taking another swig of his drink before looking down at the bar. He pushed his white-grey hair back before speaking again. "Kleppr, I could us a refill. As for your comment on a Wilhelm, it's not too often that I'm compared to a Nord."

"You should feel special. Wilhelm Bear-Heart is one of the best damn Sellswords this frozen land has." She chuckled, downing the rest of her drink and ordering another. "However, that Nord is a bit of bad luck. No matter where we are or what we are doing, dragons will flock to us if we are together."

"Ah, no wonder he's the best. The Bear-Hearts are known for their resilience." he commented, taking a sip of his special drink. He looked at her from the corner of his eye when she commented on dragons. "And what do you know of dragons?"

"What do I know of the dragons? Tch, more than I'd like to, believe me." She snorted, taking a rather large gulp of her new drink. "Oh well, nothing I can do about it. Not like I can change how I was born." The Legate didn't even consider the fact that he might have been one of the few that didn't know of her Dragonblood.

Could she be one of the ones he'd been looking for for so long? "What, were you born into a line of dragon scholars or something?" he chuckled slightly to hide his anticipation. His stomach felt a bit empty, it had been a bout a day since he ate last, got too caught up in training and searching. "Kleppr, could I get some bread and venison? Possibly a bit of Elder Cheese if it's not too much of a trouble?"

"Dragon scholars? Really? No. You got word 'dragon' right out of that. Try again." She chuckled, starting to doubt whether or not he actually knew. Who is this guy? Why is he so damn curious? she thought as she looked over at him.

"Hmm, well, if not one of the dragon obsessed 'priests' then there is only one thing left you could be." he made a small sandwich of the bread, meat, and cheese the barkeep brought him. He quickly ate it and took a drink of his mixed concoction. "You've got to be Dragonborn. But there's no way a fuzz-ball of a cat could be so important." He played off his knowledge as simple racism.

At his remark, S'kvari was out of her stool, facing him with a serious look on her face. "I've been nothing but nice to you. Ask Kleppr, I don't usually play nice. No, I gave you a chance and you want to make a remark like that, you insolent little Elf?"

"Calm yourself, Khajiit. 'Twas but a test, and from what I can tell from that little outburst, your blood was boiling, and I don't mean your cat blood." He finished his drink and left what he owed Kleppr. "If you want to know what's really going on then follow me." The Bosmer left the inn without uttering another word.

S'kvari gave a growl, but tossed a coinpurse to Kleppr and took off after the Wood Elf. Once she caught up to him, she slowed down. Her ears were back and she was clearly still angry. "You are luck I didn't turn you into a block of ice in the middle the damn inn. What the hell is going on? Speak quick, my patience is already running thin."

"Patience is a virtue, Dragonborn. Calm yourself, and your dragon-like rage. In my 300 hears of existence, I've come to find that nothing good comes of rushing what doesn't need to be rushed." he commented cooly as they left the city. They walked down the path, eventually leaving sight of the stone city. "Now I can explain myself. But first, a question, what do you know about 'Sky Haven Temple?'"

"Yeah. Some Blades haven where they keep records about the World-Eater. Why?" The Legate growled. She tried to control her anger and give the Bosmer a chance, but her nature wouldn't let her do it. Instead, she decided to try not killing him.
