"I would like to ask what pains a pretty Altmer such as yourself, however, if the memory is too much, feel free to tell me so. I am curious about you, Annalynn, but I do not wish to pry." He moved over to a knapsack and dug through it, he drew a loaf of bread and pulled it into two pieces and he offered her a half.

She took the bread and nodded her thanks. "No, it is fine. It just draws ever close to the anniversary of my boyfriend's death. He was up on the Arch-Mages tower, practicing with me and... well. He was to close to the back side. That must have been an agonizing fall. I... I know it was to watch, knowing I couldn't save him." Annalynn explained, looking at him with a sad smile. "That day is still a sad one for me, as he was one of my senior students as well... That is why I vowed to never fall for another mage again. It's not beneficial to me or anyone there. None of the other mages really knew him because he was so anti social, so our relationship and his death were kept a secret. Meaning, you are the first one I've told."
She finished her bread, looking out into the blizzard. After a long silence she chuckled giving a warm smile. "Thank you for listening. It's really unhealthy for me to have held on to this for so long. Sometimes bearing such pain alone isn't the best option..."
