"Yeah, make sure the Dovahkiin don't get killed, help them get stronger and maybe help me find more Draugr to control." She said with a matter-of-factually tone. "The more Draugr I have, the more prepared I'll be to help the Dovahkiin take out their second biggest threat."

There was silence on Silas's end as he thought this over. After a few moments he nodded his head a little, "Sounds like you're on your way," he replied, again non-commital. He still wasn't sure if he should be getting involved in this anywhere past cursory curiosity. But if this was truly a real, possible world-ender, it would be his obligation to help. He did live here, after all.
"What is so threatening about this... Nidhug?"

"He is tyrant! That and he is pretty much Alduin's little bitch!" Sahruvaak growled, getting angry just thinking about Nidhug. "Nidhug has Alduin's blessing, and he is powerful. He needs to be weaked so that the Dovahkiin can defeat him AND Alduin."

Sounds like there was a lot more personal hatred going on than world-saving feelings. Silas wasn't entirely sure how he felt about that,
"And how do you hope to find and ally yourself with these Dovahkiin? Most don't take well to Draugr." and he himself was included. Perhaps a native Nord would be more likely to see the attraction of Draugr, but speaking for himself, Silas didn't like them at all.

"I'll just have to prove we have a common enemy. That, and my Draugr are easy to pick out from the rest. They all wear masks. Well... They all have wooden masks. Sometimes Dwiiroksil has to make the lower ranked ones actually wear them, but they have them." She explained.

All this information seemed common place to her, but it was once again completely new to Silas. He blinked at her, "..." and made a general noise of agreement, finding absolutely nothing to say about that. He turned his attention to the open door that was across the room from where he sat. That was going to be his room. And it was looking closer and closer to bed time,
"Why is the inn keeper afraid of you?" he asked, hearing foot steps from behind the counter and seeing the inn keeper emerge with a plate of food. The inn keeper hesitated in walking toward Silas once he saw who was sitting next to him.

"I don't know. It could be because to be quick to anger." Sahruvaak sounded genuinely confused about the innkeeper's fear. "I mean yeah, last time I was here, I got a little angry and almost killed him... but it was an accident. Damn bards irritate me. Anyway, I don't know really."

"... That's probably why," he commented, jaw tightening a little when the inn keeper did not approach. The Redguard got up from his seat and walked toward the man, taking the plate from him without a word of look of malice. He took the plate back to his seat next to the Nord woman, this time facing the table in order to eat, "You are only looking to ally yourself with Dragonborns, yes?" he cut into his steak as he talked.

"Yes. I know I cannot defeat Alduin. Only they can. Might as well help them right?" She said with a shrug. "What about you. Who do your align yourself with?"

Well at least she wouldn't need her people skills for the common folk; because she was doing remarkably poorly in that area.
"From what you have told me, this Alduin is here to destroy this world, correct?" he took a large bite of steak, staring ahead at the wall and chewing while he listened to her.

"Yeah. His 'cleansing fire' as they call it." She said, secretly enjoying explaining all this to him. By having to tell him all of this, she also was informing everyone else in the inn that didn't know. That was a good thing.

Silas mulled this over until he swallowed, "Then I'm against Alduin. If everything you say is true." he cut into the steak again, eating another piece, "But from what you have said, there is nothing I can do about it."

"Oh there is plenty someone like you could do. Especially since I am assuming you are more brawn over brain." She chuckled, hopping he didn't take her comment the wrong way. "As I said, find the Dovahkiin. Help them get strong. Or you can help me find more Draugr. That will help them in the end.

Silas had made peace with the fact he wasn't the smartest man ever, he'd also made peace with the fact he could beat the ever living gods out of most people, "You need to work on your speech craft more than I do. And if you hire me at the Companion's guild, I will take you to the places with Draugr that I have been to." he ate another piece of his steak, sparing her a cursory glance without looking insulted.

"Excellent! You are much more useful than you look." She said, not realizing how insulting she was being. "And I have people tell me that a lot. I don't understand why though. I mean, people understand me perfectly, so why do I need to work on my speechcraft?"
