"Ok, one, the Thalmor can kiss my ass and die. Two, My relation with the Stormcloak is better than expected, but we still argue. Three, did I already mention that the Talmor can kiss my ass? Four, I know my strengths and I use them when I must, but as much as I like to show off, I see no profit in it in the situation. Lastly, Thalmor. I hate them." She said, making absolute sure he got the point about her relationship with the Thalmor.

He laughed and shook his head. "They're... they're work, that's certain. I suppose this time was coming, considering the history of the Aldmeri Dominion and how strong it has always been in the past, but for the most part I agree with you. I think their methods are far from civilized, and the outlawing of Talos is an outrage, and something they cannot expect to happen or last." He said, pacing slightly again. "I understand you though. I hope that you will know it when the time comes to be a leader to your troops in more ways than your rank, but I will have to trust that you will." He turned and picked at the slightly scorched side of his shirt.
"For now, I need to ask a question of you though. You are my superior, and though I already have a rough outline of my orders, I wondered if you had any specific plans for my time here. I know you were only... vaguely aware of my coming here, but all the same you seem a very competent leader." He asked, the slight growl of his charm voice attempting to claw through his professionalism.

"I AM a very competent leader. But anything I'd have for you would put you 'fabulous' clothes in danger." She said, her usual cock, sarcastic smirk on her face. She, of course, was only joking, even if it was true."Like, I need someone needs to go with me to make sure I don't get my ass handed to me in Forelhost. However, there are cultist, Draugr, and a Dragon Priest in there. Who knows what we'll find on the way. After all, it's just southeast of Riften."

He tilted his head. "I did bring armor, you know. Perhaps not as good as yours, but I spent my every Septim getting here in the first place. Sue me for wanting to make a good impression." He said, returning the smile in kind. "Though I'm starting to think I'd have impressed you more if I'd showed up wearing a steel loincloth and the blood of my enemies."
"I will admit it has been a long time since I've been in a truly dangerous situation, and the ruins of Cyrodiil aren't quite as perilous as the ones here. I'm more than willing to prove my worth to you in combat, if that's what it takes." He said, nodding his head. He turned back to the dragon's charred bones and scratched at his chin. "Not to mention it may be a good idea for me to sharpen my wits. I can't expect someone like you to be watching my back all the time." He said, winking at her again.

"Good thinking. Go. Get suited up and meet me in Riften. I have something to tend to first." She said, starting to walk off. However, she stopped, turning back to him. "Oh and if you see me hanging out with a thief when you get there, keep your mouth shut. If you say anything to anyone about it, I'll gut you where you stand." With that, she turned and headed off once more.

He opened his mouth to reply to her, but instead simply shook his head and turned to leave. Walking back he tried to think about what he was getting himself into, but it worried him. It had been years since he'd done any field work, and he was definately going to be rusty. All the same, he felt that Orcish excitement in his blood, his muscles themselves seeming anxious to get back into the fight.
Not to mention, he had been getting lonely without a traveling companion. A bit rough around the edges, perhaps, but still an interesting woman. "Not too hard on the eyes, either." He mumbled to himself with a smirk before making his way back up to the city.
