Cat to Cat [Ja'Remy]

Riften. A city of thieves and corrupt guard. She didn't mind, as long as they left her alone. The Legate even told J'Raska that that if the thieves stayed out of her pockets and helped her, they would benefit from it. As much as the General would hate it, S'kvari did what she could to advance the Legion's (and her own) interest. Even if it meant consorting with thieves.

[Ja'Remy]

Ja'Remy, a Thieves' Guild officer, watched from the shadows as another Khajiit entered the city. She fit the description of a Legate that a fellow thief had made in his report. He smiled, knowing that she could help him if he needed it. He blinked, returning to his normal vision and ducked around the corner. He'd watch her for a bit, to see if she made any moves that would be interesting.

[S'kvari]

Most of what she did was boring, everyday things. Forging, walking, scanning things. Nothing too interesting. However, instead of going to the inn after she was done, she when and rested in a small alleyway. She kept looking at something she had in her hand, which was hard to see in the darkness of night. She was fiddling with it, looking it over. One might find this behavior strange, especially in this city.

[Ja'Remy]

"Hey there, Kitty-cat." said Ja'Remy as he dropped from the upper level, perching himself on a lamppost. "What's an Imperial doing this deep in Stormcloak territory?"

[S'kvari]

The Legate looked up at the Khajiit above her. "Does it matter?" She answered, a cocky grin on her face. "Perhaps I'm waiting on someone. Perhaps I'm trying to cut a deal somewhere. What about you? If my guess on your profession is correct, then why are you out and about so freely?"

[Ja'Remy]

"Well, the answer is simple, we own this city, whether the Stormcloaks want to admit it or not." he answered as he dropped to a hang, then to the ground. "I answered your question, the least you could do is return the favor, Kitty-cat."

[S'kvari]

"Fine. I'm looking to maybe get a little... help on learning the Stormcloak's movements." S'kvari answered, her purple eyes following his every move. "Perhaps you would be interested, Thief."

[Ja'Remy]

"Hmm, well, depends, what will I get in return? I mean, if you can't pay me in gold, which I know you can, what about information?" he asked as he stretched a bit. He leaned against the stone-wall-fence. He lowered his hood, being courteous since she had her helmet off.

[S'kvari]

"I can give you both depending on how good your information is. Here, have this. Maybe it'll loosen your tongue. After I get what I want, then you get paid based on quality." The female Khajiit said, tossing him what she had in her hand. A Gold Diamond Necklace. Worth a pretty penny in capable hands.

[Ja'Remy]

He caught it, knowing exactly what it was and it's value, having been watching her since she entered Riften. "Hmm, well, depends, do you want vague information, or a more detailed report?" he asked, already knowing the answer. The Imperial Legionnaires always wanted the same thing.

[S'kvari]

"I don't care. It all affects your pay." S'kvari said. "If you want just the gold, vague is fine."

[Ja'Remy]

Hmm, this one is smarter than the others. he thought. "Well, there have been several towers and forts along the north that are being occupied by the rebels, as well as a subtle gathering around the Valthiem Towers, my sources believe they are planning on taking the towers."

[S'kvari]

"Hm... interesting. General Assmuch will want to know about that. Anything else you wish to tell me. Currently you are sitting on 3,000 septims." S'Kvari said, throwing in his current predicted pay to encourage him."

[Ja'Remy]

"Well, well. Looks like Kitty-cat has a good li'l stockpile." he said, almost sounding sarcastic. "Well, I think that you'd like to know that the Stormcloaks are mounting an attack on Falkreath. My sources say that the attack should come no later than Sundas."

[S'kvari]

S'Kvari nodded. That's really what she wanted to know. "Very well. What do you want know, thief?"
