It had most definitely been a good day for the Khajiit known as Raziah. Solitude was a prime location for a thief. For one, it was a big, well-protected city with numerous homes and businesses that were all thriving. For another, since there were so many people in Solitude, it was very easy to get lost in a crowd, slip away, sell your hard-earn merchandise to a fence, and then go spend that coin however you liked.
Raziah, herself, had many a vice (being a Khajiit on the other side of the law) and there were three she was currently indulging in at the Winking Skeever (drink, sweetrolls, and lovely people), possibly the best tavern and Inn in Skyrim other than the Bee and Barb, at least in Raziah's opinion. Due to Imperial occupation, the wine was the absolute best here and Raziah was already deep in her cups as she shamelessly flirted with pretty much anyone that crossed her path, male, female, men, mer, beast, it didn't matter as long as they were attractive. She was in one of her "dunk and happy" moods, singing her favorite drinking song, tail waving slightly as the bar keep poured her another round.
"Ahhh.. I love Solitude, I really do..." she commented as the wine was poured into her glass, smiling drunkenly.

The doors to the Winking Skeever flew open and everyone stooped to look. There in the doorway stood Legate S'kvari, one of the most influential and feared creatures in all of Haafingar. The fiery female looked around at everyone that was staring at her before walking in and closing the door.
As she was walking to the bar, she glanced over at the bard and nodded. As if it was usual thing, the bard started singing The Dragonborn Comes and everyone went back to what they were doing. Pleased, the cat sat down at the bar and glanced over at the innkeeper. "My usual. Get to it and you get tipped." She half growled. The innkeeper wasted no time, having her drink sat in from over her in no time. One bottle of Black-Briar mead with half a glass of Alto Wine.

The only notice that Raziah took of the Legate's entrance was the sudden lack of sound and merriment before it returned. One did not earn a name like "Raziah the Fearless" by having a respect or fear of anything bigger and badder than she was. Even in her slightly drunk state she could feel the Legate's entrance and approach, but there was no noticeable change in the Khajiit thief's behavior. Raziah was seated at the bar, tail waving lightly in contentment as she sat on her stool, nursing her glass of wine.
Sensing something next to her, Raziah looked over at S'kvari, smiling a slightly drunk smile.
"Well, hello thar tall, dark, and broody," Raziah stated bluntly, her words only slightly slurred. She had never been one to mince words and normally called people as she saw them. She failed to notice as the bar keep attempted to get her attention, the man knowing that the Khajiit Imperial did not like to be bothered and doing so when she was in a bad mood was tantamount to suicide, but Raziah was oblivious.
Noting her drinks of choice, Raziah nodded slightly. "Black Briar, good stuff. From Riften, like yours truly. A toast to your good health, then." She lightly raised her glass to S'kvari before drinking deeply.

The black cat looked over at the other, slightly drunken cat. "I drink the stuff as part of my agreement with Maven. I mix it with the Alto Wine to make a nice drink." She snorted. Then she shook her head. "You drunken fool... you are a disgrace to Khajiit."

Raziah just laughed off the remark. "My da would've been proud then." She stated, lifting her glass up one more in a silent toast to her long-dead father, drinking deeply afterwards, setting the glass down on the counter and tapping it with a claw, getting that lovely pinging noise that the bar keep knew meant "fill it again." He did so rather quickly, hoping Raziah would soon fall into a stupor and thus stop bothering the testy Legate. . "Now, a'course... that's a insult to the wine," Raziah stated, sounding serious at first. "Can't handle a little honey... honey?" Raziah giggled at her own drunken joke.

She sighed, trying really are not to use Unrelenting Force on this poor cat. "Look, what I drink and how I drink it doesn't require a comment from you. Don't get yourself hurt, cat. Ask anyone in here. I don't play nice." The Legate said, relatively calm. She returned to her drink and stared off into space.

Raziah giggled softly to herself, smiling in a lop-sided, drunken manner.
"Yooou know what your problem is?" Raziah stated, humming gently, swirling her wine cup a bit before drinking another sip. "You're allergic to fun."
Raziah nodded, the statement making perfect sense to her wine-addled brain.

"Am I now?" S'kvari asked, temper starting to flare a bit. "I hope you aren't allergic to being on fire, because at the rate you are going, you will be." The bar keep tried desperately to get Raziah's attention, trying to hush her up before S'kvari got really irritated.

The threat did nothing to faze Raziah, who just giggled in her drunken state, sipping at her wine once again.
"Hmm, can't remember the last time I was on fire... I think it was about thirteen jobs ago..." she stated with a hum, actually giving the concept thought. "Wonder if I have a potion of resist fire around here somewhere..."
Humming softly, she looked over at S'kvari, smiling lightly. "Bet I could drink you under the table...."

A cocky smile crossed the black Khajiit's lips at the challenge. "Heh, I doubt it. I can hold my liquor better than most men, and you are already drunk. What makes you so sure you could out-drink me?" It had been a long time since she was in a drinking contest, but she remembered it clearly. She also remembered the fact that she easily won.

Raziah smiled lightly, grooving a bit in her seat to music only she could hear.
"The Daedric Lord Sanguine, my friend..." Raziah said, smiling mischievously before suddenly becoming very serious. "Never drink with Daedra, they cheat... they put something in the drink and then you wake up three days later, missing your clothes in the temple of Dibella.... wow, that was a fun time."
Raziah giggled uncontrollably, remembering that little adventure. She sipped at her wine once more, humming as she smiled at S'kvari.
"Whatcha got to loose, huh? Other than your stoic, harsh charm, that is..."

"Sanguine tried that on me too. He was very disappointed when I didn't pass out. Fine, I accept your challenge. What does the winner get?" She chuckled, thinking of how irritated Sanguine was that day.

Raziah hummed thoughtfully.... reaching into her pocket and pulling out a few flawless gems.
"I got two amythest, a sapphire...." she stated, smiling lightly. She had been planning to commission a jeweler in Riften to set these stones into necklace, mostly to help hide the fact they were ill-begotten before selling the whole thing off. They would be worth more set in gold.
"What cha got to lay down?" Raziah asked, her normal mischievous glint returning to her golden eyes.

S'Kvari pulled out a heavy purse of septims and sat it down. "5,000 septims. Nothing to me, but worth a lot to someone of your profession." The Khajiit said, letting the other know that she did indeed know what she did. "What is the drink for the challenge?"

Raziah's eyes widened at the sight of the purse, having to remember to close her jaw, ears perked up at the noise the purse made as S'Kvari put the purse down onto the bar. Raziah's tail flicked wildly in excitement.
"Well met, Lady Legate," Raziah stated, smirking lightly as she looked to the bar keep. "Alto wine, and keep it comin' until one of us falls over, preferably her..."
The bar keep nodded lightly, pulling out the requested items, placing one glass before each cat. He then poured the wine into the glasses, nodding to the pair. Raziah picked up her glass, nodding to S'kvari with a smile.
"May the best cat win..." and she then stated to drink, not putting her glass down til all of the wine was gone, waiting for S'kvari to drink hers before they would both be refilled.
