"It was." S'kvari grunted, propping herself up against the wall as she cast Fast Healing on herself. "That shout was called Dragonrend. It forces a dragon to land and face a concept they barely comprehend. Mortality. It is the only Shout created solely by humans. However, no one has heard anything of it in centuries, much less learned it. It took a lot of effort and the trials were harsh, but I learned. Not because I wanted it's power, but to prove to the Greybeards that my confidence didn't get in the way of my duties as a Dovahkiin." After she got herself healed, she stood up straight, in her usual, Nord-like stance. "However, now the way to learn it is closed and I am the only one who can teach it. If you would like, you can be the first to learn it from me."

"Hmm, I never thought that one Dovahkiin could teach another Words." He pondered the concept for a few seconds before nodding to her. He sheathed his weapon and spoke. "Alright, let's do this."

S'kvari turned and whispered the Words at the ground. 'Joor', 'Zah', and 'Frul' appeared on the ground, the draconic letters glowing with a orange-ish glow. She stepped away and waited for Wilhelm to learn the Words.

He opened himself to the Words as their meaning flowed into him. He knew the Words now, he just needed more souls to use them, or so he thought. "Got 'em. Joor, Zah Frul." He said the Words instead of shouting.

"Now, I'll grant you my understanding of the Words." The Khajiit said calmly as she relaxed and walked around in front of him, meeting his eyes. She felt some of the power leaving her body, but she felt no weaker. The power, the knowledge, flowed toward him, ready to be taken into by the other Dovahkiin.

He felt the energy fill him. It was strange, different than absorbing a soul. He wasn't consuming its entirety, but it still became a part of him. "Dragonrend." he repeated the name of the Shout as he looked at his hands, which were in front of him, palms up. He clenched his fists, relaxed them, and repeated a few times. "The power to rip a dragon from the air. It's almost god-like."

"It is. It can also knock a dragon out of a Shout in an instant." She said. "To rip them from the sky, stop them mid-shout, make them face mortality. You place God to them. Even to Alduin, the God of Destruction. Akatosh's first born. I have a feeling it maybe the only way to defeat the black bastard."

"Hmm, judging from the size of the Dovah, we'd need at least the two of us hitting him with it. Until then, we'll just have to keep working on our Thu'ums." He popped his neck as he began to walk down the path. "So, where are you going next?"

"I think I'm headed off to High Gate Ruins. See what I can find there. Maybe on my way through Dawnstar, I'll see if my other sellsword friend is there. I'd be nice to have a Nord with me that can do some ranged damage." S'kvari chuckled. "What about you, hairy?" She meant no insult with the nickname, in fact, with her, it was a mark of friendship. Though she never thought to ask Wilhelm what he thought about it.

He scratched his head through the cowl. "Well, I've got to make sure that Pointy-Ears isn't in any trouble. He get's to being like a milk drinker when he's drunk. A Sellsword from Dawnstar, eh? You couldn't mean Arya, could you Furball?" He didn't mind the nickname, in fact, it was rather right, he was a hairy Nord man.

"Arya. That's her name. Amazing archer. I'm guessing you know her?" The cat asked, quite curious how a big Nord Dovahkiin would know the quiet, kind Dawnstar native.

"Well, he helped the Stormcloaks hold the Falkreath Watchtower, she saved me when I was bleeding to death mere yards from the Temple of Dibella after fighting Otar the Mad, and we fought and killed not only a dragon, but the Dragon Priest Krosis." He said after turning toward her. He figured she'd be a little pissed about him being the reason the Imperials couldn't take the Watchtower back.

"Oh so you two were the reason we couldn't take the watchtower." She started, before starting to laugh. "Tch. No wonder everyone died. Anyway. Sounds like you two are pretty close. Do you like her?" The Legate never was known to be subtle. In fact, it was quite common for her ask things like that.

"Yes, she's a fine warrior and woman." He answered bluntly. "I'd like to fight by her side as much as possible. From past experiences, we make a good team."

A smirk crossed the cats mouth and she left out what sounded like a purr of amusement. "The hairy giant has found a woman that he likes. I figured for sure you were more a 'hit-and-run' kind of guy. You know, being a sellsword and all." S'kvari teased. "Eh, oh well. Doesn't make a shit of differance to me. Have you told her yet?"
