He chuckled at her 'hit-and-run' joke. "No, I have not. We've had no 'casual time' together, we've always been working. What about you, Furball, do you have anyone you're interested in?"

If she had been human, or even a lighter color, the blush on her face would have been painfully obvious. "I uh... maybe." She said looking off. "Perhaps there is a thief in Riften that tugs a little at my heart. But enough about me! Perhaps you should take her out on a date or something. If I know her, she will be surprised to hear that such a handsome Nord likes her, but she will be afraid that she will hinder you. After all, she isn't used to being around Dovahkiin, but to have a place in the heart of one of the three? Yeah you'll just have to get her to stop think she is always in the way."

"Hmm, maybe." he said, toying with the idea of this 'date.' "Maybe you should do the same with that thief." A smirk sat on his face under the mask. He popped his knuckles, feeling his hands beginning to tighten a bit. "What do you mean 'one of the three?'"

"The three chosen Dovahiin? The ones fated to defeat Alduin? A Sellsword, a Stormcloak, and an Imperial with abnormally strong Voices and strangely high ability to master Shouts." She started off in a sort of 'duh' tone. The she started to realize... maybe he felt his slightly stronger Voice was coincidence. Maybe he thought nothing of his ability to master shouts quicker than even a normal Dovahkiin. "Don't... Don't tell me you don't know..."

"Alright, I won't." He said as he began to walk off, absorbing what she had said. He did notice that he was stronger than other Dovahkiin he'd heard of, but he had never thought anything of it.

"Whoa whoa whoa." She said, catching up to him. "I figured you knew, that's why I didn't say anything before. So if that bothers you, I apologize. Anyway, I know that is a lot to process, so I'll leave you be... since you were already trying to leave. Quick question though... What's the quickest way to Riften from here?" She was obvious a little annoyed at having to ask, but she tried not to show it.

He pulled the mask down and cocked an eyebrow at her. "You didn't bother me. You're the one who said 'don't tell me.'" He snickered as he pushed the mask back up, it magically stayed in place. Instead of answering her question, he just motioned her to follow him. "Did you forget, I've got to check on my drunk friend."

She sighed and followed him. Obviously she didn't like admitting that weakness, but something told her that she had to. "Is your friend always drunk? I mean, I think he was drunk when we met too."

"Ah, so you met Balthien? He's usually hanging around an inn or tavern while I'm out working. So, yes, he's usually always drunk, regardless of his ridiculous hangovers he gets." Wilhelm laughed as he walked. "But what can I say, he's one helluva cook and archer. Plus, he's getting better at being a bard, unless he's drunk, that is."

The legate laughed. "You certainly have some interesting friend, Wilhelm."
After a little bit of silence, and a little bit of thinking, she spoke up again. "Would you like to know where Arya's favorite place is? She never gets to go there much and if you DID want to take her out... A trip there would be your best bet."

He thought a moment as they came to a fork in the road, he took a right. "I don't see why not."

"Kynesgrove. She loves to sit up by the old dragon burial mound and look at the landscaping. If you wanted to surprise her, take her up there." She answered. "Such a simple, easily reached location. Yet she loves it to death. I don't understand why."

"Hmm, that's not a bad idea. At least I won't have any snobby Imperials trying to take my amulet there. However, I'll always have the Stormcloak fools trying to get me to join." he shrugged. "If it will make her happy, then I will deal with the minor annoyances."

S'kvari chuckled and looked over at the Nord. An uncharacteristically soft, happy smile crossed her face. "You know, you really are a good guy Wilhelm." she said, her voice more sincere than it ever had been. What was weird was, even if you didn't know her that well, everyone knew she wasn't the type of person to give complements.

The Sellsword was quite surprised by the comment. He turned back around, sliding the mask down to reveal a very worried face. "S'kvari, are you feeling alright?" His expression cracked a bit into a smile, showing he was messing with the Khajiit.
