Simple question. Do you think Dragons, Dwemer (because they never said they were dead, they just disappeared), or Falmer (Could be a plot with them and some surviving Snow Elves later...) should because RPable races? Be sure to comment with why!
I think the Dragons and Falmer should because they both actually appear in game and we have Draugr as a playable species.

I votes all 3! But mostly just Falmer and Dwemer. If Dragons are made a playable race, there should either be a limited very number available, otherwise there will be over 9000 dragons flying around, or just keep things how they are now.
But I am ALL FOR FALMER/SNOW ELVES ;D

Because I think the more options we have, the more crazy and interesting this board could get.
Can you imagine what would happen if we had a Dwemer walking around? Ande would flip his shit!

I vote none because the only reason we have Draugr as a playable race is because it's conducive to the plot of the site. We only need one dragon, and Vok has that covered.

Personally I think dragons should not be regularly playable. Perhaps special plot positions could be auditioned for, or they could essentially be a 'gift' for people who are very active or accomplished, but the moment anyone can be a dragon they become normal, and all the intrigue that goes with them is lost. Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE to play a dragon, but I'd much rather have earned it than just come up with it. Probably will play one if you decide to make them available though.
As for Dwemer and Falmer, I think it would be VERY cool to be able to play them- however they should have a purpose. We should come up with specific rules and such with them, and a reason for why they exist/are playable. Perhaps make them a storyline for them?

I'm on the line about the Dwemer, but I ultimately voted for none.
Dwemer, though cool in idea, we really don't have alot of reference of what they were or what they were like. It would be alot of fan created facts and I'm just not evil enough to make staff do that. =P
Falmer freak me out personally, and I don't know that they really would be wandering outside the ruins; and I can't see them going into cities without being attacked by like... everything.
Dragons - I'm with Wilhelm. One dragon is enough for me.:D
Plus, we have a awesome selection of playable races already. DO we need more?

Playing as a dragon: this is self explanitory. XP
Playing as a dwarf: anyone who has ever gone dungen diving into a dwemer ruin has been curious about what it would be like to play as one. :3
Playing as a falmer: >see "Playing as a dwarf"<

I voted None. Here's why:
A Dragon is a huge amount of responsibility because Dragons are very big, very powerful, and need to have good plots and players. I agree with Twinch in the fact that they should be an as-needed type of character and that players should have to earn Dragons, it's not something that you should give to just anyone.
I agree with Risrryn, the canon lore doesn't state enough about Dwemer to play them without a lot of fan-speculation and because of this, you'll get five different people each with a different interpretation of Dwemer and Dwemer culture, unless of course you either have someone write up a big ol' backstory that the Dwemer must follow as to what happened to them and why.
Falmer, to me, have the same play appeal as Dragur, which is none unless needed for story purposes. Come up with a plot-line that requires playable Falmer and then you might be able to attract people to play Falmer. But then you'll have to have the same thing as the Dwemer - a big ol' post on backstory and what a Falmer is and is not capable of. I mean, they're a race of blind, cave-dwelling, viperous elves. Unless, of course, you come up with a handwave about how a pocket of Snow Elves somehow avoided the Dwemer enslavement and corruption.
*comes back after a moment of reading up on lore* Actually, you could probably have a damn good RP about the corruption of the Snow Elves into the Falmer, but that would probably require it's own sub-board since that happened so very long ago...
Also, in-game books point to the Falmer becoming more sophisticated in their attacks, so if we need an After-Alduin main plot... "The Rising of the Falmer" might be a good one... but I wouldn't recommend making Falmer playable at this point in time.
