It was turning out to be a fairly pleasant day. It wasn't too cool nor too warm, leaving the sun to simply glare down on the city. Riss was enjoying the moment of peace, watching the people move back and forth under the barren branches of the Gildergreen. No matter what people had to do in the city, they all seemed to pass threw the Wind District's center span - leaving them a perfect distraction for the otherwise bored Companion.
Seated at the top of the stone steps that led to the arched entrance of Jorrvaskr, Risrryn could see all those that came to Whiterun on 'official business'. The men and women in flashy armor that waltzed threw the Wind District on their way up the steps to the Vaulted halls of Dragonsreach. The War as it was did not involve the Companions as a whole - they simply watched for now to see how it would all play out.
Right now though the only thing that concerned Ris was plotting the rather messy and quick death to the Talos priest who stood below her. A good twenty feet from her, she could still hear him carrying on like a drunken bard, squawking about the damnation of those that forsaken his god. Now, Risrryn had no problems with Talos in the slightest.... but the priest was seriously beginning to wear on her already boredom-frayed nerves.
Eyes focused on him, gauging if she could shoot him from where she was sitting without alerting one of the many town guards that walked the Wind District and random. Her beast seemed to approve of the idea; the warm rush of the predator in her seemed to almost bait her to try it. Aim to the back... a little to the left... she could plant the arrow in his throat before anyone noticed.
No. Bad girl. Bad. With a sigh, she scolded herself and returned to watching the flow of the crowd. The priest's voice was still annoying, but for his life and her sanity, she tried to block it out.
(OOC: Making good on my word to get her into a thread :D)

Whiterun was nice enough, she guessed. It had everything she needed to get to work on her contract, nice people, and good lodging. Still, she would have rathered been with Wilhelm or back at home right now. She couldn't complain though, at least SOMEONE decided to hire her. Being a female sellsword was hard, either no one hired you, or you got paid less. The only people that ever paid her well were Legate S'kvari and Sahruvaak, who were both women and a little crazy.
After the Nord gathered all her supplies, she walked up nd sat on a bench under the Gildergreen. Her armor glittered in the sunlight, but it was obvious that she wasn't part of any faction. That, and it was also obvious that young, dark-headed woman wasn't too interesting in all the Nord men that walked up and stared hitting on her.
