Damn thief... The Legate growled in her head as she searched Riften for the man that she had been thinking about so much recently. When she didn't find him, she decided that the next best place to look was the infamous Ragged Flagon. With a sigh, she jumped down onto the lower walk and entered the Ratway.
Getting to the Flagon was easier enough, but she wasn't exactly greeted with open arms when she got there. The guard, recognizing her from when she still wore her Imperial Armor, jumped up, weapon out. Her ears went back and she too drew her weapon.
"You better get out of here Imperial, if you know what's good for you." The guard growled, taking a step toward her.
"I'm not here to arrest any of you! If you attack me though, I WILL kill you. Move." The cat hissed back.

The Khajiit thief, though he was one of many, sat at the bar in the Ragged Flagon. The bartender set down a large mug of Black Briar mead in front of him just as the commotion started. Normally, people weren't foolish enough to wander into the Flagon unless they had a good reason, so Ja'Raska got up to go check out what was going on. When the khajiit heard the guard say Imperial, Ja'Raska felt a little nervous... but when he heard S'kvari he became even more nervous.
With his mug in his hand, Ja'Raska strolled over to the guard and nudged him out of the way. "Let the lady by, the job she gave me last time she was in town paid your wages for a month," he informed the guard, "Either move aside or get out of the Flagon."

The guard snorted, giving S'Kvari one last glare before walking away. The Legate returned her weapon to her back and gave the other Khajiit a cocky smile. "You aren't easy to find, Ja'Raska." She stated, placing one hand on her hip. "And to think, I made a special trip down here to see you, and your guard man tries to attack me. Jeez." It wasn't exactly clear if she was kidding or not, but she still had her typical, sarcastic smile.

Ja'Raska just chuckled at her response, while keeping an eye on the guard who finally let them be. He nearly threw an arm around her, but didn't want her to chop it off, so the khajiit just stood there with his big mug and a smile.
"I am very easy to find, my dear friend, you just have to know where to look." Ja'Raska said with a laugh, not entirely sure if S'kvari was joking or not. He certainly hoped she was... otherwise he was just going to make this really awkward... "It's his job to keep people out of the Flagon, he won't make that mistake with you again though. So! What brings you to Riften on this fine day?"

"I already told you, you retard. I came down here to see you." She said, letting him know that she wasn't joking at all. However, the Legate left off the part about her not being able to keep her mind off of him. "Did you think I was kidding?"

So she was serious? Ja'Raska was rather surprised that S'kvari would make such a long trip for just a friendly visit... She had to have had some kind of job for him or something. The khajiit certainly didn't that he was important enough to visit just out of the blue.
"Oh...? So you have a job for me?" Ja'Raska asked, not realizing that it was just meant to be a friendly visit. He drank some more of his mead while he waited for an answer.

"Nope. Again, I just came down here to see you." She said with a slight chuckle. "What about that aren't you getting?" The jet black Suthay-raht Khajiit shifted her weight to one foot and continued her usual smirk. Something was definitely different about this visit. Last time, she almost ripped his ears off on several occasions. Why then would she make a trip from Solitude just to see him?

This was all rather knew to Ja'Raska. Nobody ever came to visit him unless they had some sort of a job for him. This was the first friendly visit that he had ever gotten and it was a wonderful change.
"People only come to visit if they have a job for me," Ja'Raska chuckled, "I suppose I just wasn't expecting a social visit." It was all rather curious... perhaps S'kvari liked him and wanted to hang out? That certainly put a smile on his face. "Thirsty?"

"Very." She laughed. "That walk from Solitude is a killer." The Legate's eyes weren't as harsh as they usually were, and her stance was more relaxed. It was odd, especially for her. Not that she cared though, she did what she wanted and didn't ask questions. "What do you have in mind?"

"I can only imagine," the khajiit laughed, then led her over to the bar. He sat down on one of the bar stools and ordered up some more Black Briar mead, which he hoped that S'kvari liked.
"Well, I was hoping that I might buy you a drink. The Black Briar mead we have in the Flagon is the best quality in all of Skyrim. You like this mead, yes?" Ja'Raska told her with a grin. The bartender set the mugs down in front of them. "So... you came all the way from Solitude just to visit me? I am very flattered."

"I usually mix it with wine, but I can drink it straight." She said as she sat down. "And she better feel flattered. I don't make social visits. EVER." Now things were going to seem stranger. Again, she didn't care. She wasn't exactly one to be subtle. However, she was being subtle, compared to usual.

"It is certainly an acquired taste," Ja'Raska said with a nod, then asked the bartender to bring some wine, so S'kvari could mix it with the mead if she wanted. If not, Ja'Raska certainly had a whole lot of booze to down himself later on. The drinks wouldn't make it that long in the Flagon though, some guild member was bound to slink over and grab one of the drinks.
"I'm quite curious... If you never make social visits... what makes me so special?"

"You did a good job on the mission I gave you. That and you didn't hit on me. I consider you a friend and felt you warranted a visit." She said, mixing her drink like she liked it. Though all of what she said was true, she still managed to leave of some information. To her, it was no big deal though. Even a bold cat like S'kvari wouldn't say anything if she did like him. She was a little more traditional than that.

When S'kvari mentioned that she considered him a friend, Ja'Raska chuckled. She must not have had very many friends if she never went to visit anybody except for him. He was quite certain that there was more to S'kvari's story than what met the eye... but he wasn't going to push his luck and ruin everything.
"It was very hard to not hit on you," Ja'Raska joked, even though it was true. He was always tempted to flirt with anybody that noticed him, but the khajiit knew boundaries and didn't like to be irritating to anybody.

"I'm sure it was. I'm hot." She returned with a laugh. Funny thing was, it was obviously a joke because she didn't believe it for a moment. Her tone let him know that too. "Anyway, What have you been up to? It's been a while since I saw you last. Same old thing?"
