She was starting to become rather impatient. Not because Ande was late, because he wasn't, but because she was so excited to see if the rumors were true. Now, she had to wait here for Ande. She told him to meet her in Morthal but didn't tell him why or where they were going. Hopefully though, the eagerness and excitement in her voice was enough to make him come.

Initially Ande had asked why, and when he wasn't told exactly why he'd gotten a bit concerned. But Annalynn had been adamant about it, and the Altmer ultimately agreed to come. If she needed his help, he would be there for her.
He rubbed his hands together as he entered Morthal, keeping his hood up and eyes down while he walked by a towns person. No one here liked mages, and they didn't like elves either. Admittedly he got along with the inn keeper and the alchemy woman and the Jarl, but no one else really liked him.

Annalynn easily spotted Ande and immediately hurried over. "There you are. Come, let's get going." She said, rather excited. Though she still didn't explain why as she took off, it seemed important. After all, why would the Arch-Mach be this excited over nothing?

Ande blinked at her as she ran over, raising a hand for greeting and immediately getting swamped with her excitement. He blinked more and followed after her, "Um, okay. Where are we going?" he asked, taking longer strides in order to keep up with her.

"You'll see, dear." She said happily as she hurried along.
Not to long after, they came up on a massive area. Annalynn stopped at the gates and looked at the place for a moment. All mages knew of Labyrinthian. It's expansive halls were talked about often, and stories passed down of the deaths that occurred here. Yet know one knew what laid in the final few chambers.

Ande had slowed behind her as they walked, admiring the Labrynthian's outside structures again. He'd visited this place years ago while looking into Nord history, but he hadn't been able to get inside. The Altmer stopped behind Annalyn and looked around her at the large door, curiosity piqued, "Are we going inside?" he asked.

"Yes. There is said to be a rather powerful magical artifact inside, but no one knows where exactly it is or even what it is." She said excitedly, looking at Ande while setting the oncoming Frost Troll ablaze. "For some reason though, people with a high mastery of the Arcane arts and have high amounts of magic in their blood, such as myself, are negatively effected as they walk these halls. And, again, no one knows why. That's why I asked you to come. Though I know Fenris will take good care of the College, I'm not ready to die yet. Not until I see that Bosmer one last time. So, if this starts getting bad, you can drag me out. That and you will be good company and a great battle partner."

Bosmer? He really had been out of the loop for a while. It would have to be a conversation saved for later though, "I've heard about that, but I've never seen it. Do you think it would be better if we had hired a Companion?" he asked, still completely willing to accompany Annalynn into the ruins. Ande smiled at the complements paid to him, but his expression turned a bit grim as he wondered what was truly inside the ruins.

"No, a third member would only get in our way. Besides, I figured that this was a good time for us to have an adventure. With you always gone, and the Bosmer in hiding, hearing of an adventure is almost as rare as going on one for me." She chuckled, proceeding forward.

"Sure. But I have to ask, who is this Bosmer?" Ande asked, following Annalynn in. He became alert almost immediately to their surroundings once they were inside, looking at the architecture and estimating its age. It seemed a bit older than most of the tombs he had been in, and it was... colder maybe?

"Now that I cannot tell you." She answered simply. "If it was something I could just tell, I would have called him by his name. Maybe later we can discuss it." The Arch-Mage continued to walk, taking out a few Draugr here and there. Still, the deeper she got into the ruins, the more the feeling of impending doom crept into her mind. Something powerful was here, and it wasn't just the artifact.

Ande put his hands up a bit as a sign the at he wouldn't ask anymore, "It's just you keep mentioning him," he said in defense, but let the matter drop and turned his attention to the architecture again. He worked with Annalynn when the Draugr emerged, using his own destruction magic to take them down from a distance.

They walked in further, finally finding a small area with no Draugr. Suddenly, a void spoke to them in a deep, ancient tone. When the voice started speaking, Annalynn suddenly felt weak, as if all the magic had just been drained from her body instantly. She collapsed to the ground, holding her head.
"Hin ahkrin los lot. Hin suleyk los lot."
After the voice faded, she looked up at Ande and held out her hand, asking for help up. She was rather fluent in the dragon language, as she had studied it for years. She knew what the voice had said, she just wasn't sure why it was talking to them in the first place.

Ande inhaled a gasp when the voice spoke, feeling the magic drain out of his body and leaving it feeling hollow and weak. He remained standing even thoug he swayed slightly, thanking his more physical training rather than relying solely on magic,
"Who is that?" he asked, voice a little more hoarse as he took Annalynn's hand and helped her up carefully. His other hand was ready to catch her if she crumpled again. The voice had said their power and courage was great in the ancient Dragon tongue, but who had said it? Why did It suck all of their power away when it spoke?

"I-I'm not sure, Ande." She said, her voice shaking slightly as she took a moment to recover. She was finally abl to stay standing and muttered a small thank you to Ande before heading off. "He said 'Your courage is great. Your power is great.'... but why? Why does this obviously ancient being wish to speak to us?"
