Balthien downed another pint. The glasses were rolling off of the tiny table. He stumbled as he stood up, and grabbed a lute. He began playing a song, singing in Elven. It was the song he used to sing with the other Bosmer miners.

Wilhelm entered the inn and heard his friend's drunken singing. With a sigh he walked over to the elf. "Balthien, you're drunk and you said you would only have a few drinks."

"I did only have one or two...barrels," he said, hiccuping and laughing. He attempted to stand up, and fell onto his friend's shoulder.

"By the Nine Divines, Pointy-Ears, when will you ever learn to hold your liqueur?" he asked with a laugh. Although Balthien was indeed very intoxicated, it was good to see him let loose. They had been on the road the better part of the month, sleeping under fallen trees here and there.

"Talen-Jei, I need some more of those Gold-White Towers or White-Gold Towers, or whatever they're called! My friend here has never had one," Balthien yelled, then he turned to Wilhelm and whispered, "You haven't had one, right? I don't think you have..." Balthien's eyebrows pressed together.

"Actually, for a stinking drunk," the Nord jokingly pinched his nostrils together, "you're right, I haven't." He was curious about the drink, he had heard many a tale of the hangover from the brew.

Balthien thanked Talen-Jei as he brought two White-Gold Towers over to their table. He handed one to Wilhelm. "Sip it...it tastes better that way. That sounds dirty..." he said, giggling and chugging his drink. He shook his head after he set his glass down, and his eyes were wide.

Wilhelm sighed, again, as he took the drink in. It was bitter, too bitter. Hmm, might as well. he thought as he slid the tankard to his already shit-faced friend. Hopefully he'd pass out soon so that he could sleep off most of the alcohol.

"For me?" he giggled. "You shouldn't have. See, this is why you're my best friend. You know me better than anybody else," he said, and he chugged the drink. He had a stupid grin on his face, but soon it was gone. "But seriously Wilhelm...thank you. I don't know where I'd be if you hadn't found me..." he said, suddenly tearing up.

"'Prolly dead in a ditch feeding the buzzards." he mumbled as he ordered more alcohol for his soon-to-be loopy friend.

Balthien wasn't up for much longer. He received another drink, and before he was even halfway finished with it, he fell out of his chair, unconcious.

(OoC - Permission was given prior to my making this post to do something to another player's character.)
Wilhelm sighed in relief as he paid his friend's tab and picked him up, propping the elf on his shoulder as he took him to their room. He laid him on the bed and covered him up, letting him sleep off most of the alcohol. He himself sat down in the chair and soon dozed off as well.

Balthien got up in the morning, his head throbbing in pain. He attempted to sit up, but to no avail. "Ouch...where am..." Balthien grabbed his head. He was sure his brain was going to push through his skull.
