"Will do. I am not as rigid as my General. I don't care how something gets done, as long as it gets done." The cat purred in amusement. "I'm sure your Guild wouldn't mind the gold either. Now would they?"

Ja'Raska chuckled at the mention of the guild needing gold. It was true, the Thieves' were a bit down on the luck as of late, but as their client base expanded, so did their wealth. The male Khajiit thought it was only a matter of time before they were restored to their former glory.
"Who wouldn't want their pockets filled with gold septims?" laughed Ja'Raska. "Just be sure to request that what ever job you want done is completed by a senior member of the guild. Some of the newbies are not quite.... up to par with the rest of us just yet."

"Senior members?" She chuckled. Then she jokingly added. "You mean like yourself? Seems like an excuse to see me again." Though she was only joking, she found that, despite her hatred for the men of her species, she rather enjoyed this cat's company.

The male Khajiit was rather surprised that S'kvari said something of the sort. Ja'Raska often took such comments as blatant flirtation, but he was already treading on thin ice due to his accidental third person slip, so he didn't want to push it any further. He much preferred having both ears intact and flirting, no matter how difficult it was not to do, was just simply not worth it just yet. Rather than reply right away, Ja'Raska picked up his lute again and strummed the strings a couple of times.
"It all depends on how you'd like to interpret it," Ja'Raska said with a simple little smile. He glanced up from his lute and looked at her again, not too sure what to expect next.

"Despite my hatred for males of my species, I find that I enjoy your company." She admitted nonchalantly. She seemed to be rather calm about it, even if her attitude was still a little edgy. "So I may have a little favor you can do for me, if you would like to see me again."

Ja'Raska took her comment as a compliment, even though S'kvari mentioned that she hated Khajiit men. He considered himself lucky and went with it. Quite frankly, Ja'Raska enjoyed everybody's company but there was something quite compelling about her. When she mentioned a favor, Ja'Raska raised a brow in interest.
"I'm listening."

"I believe this is what you might call a shill job." She started, getting to her feet and facing him. Her voice lowered so that only he could hear. "You see, I'm here in Riften because there is a Stormcloak Officer giving us trouble and I was told to take care of it. Killing him would be to flashy, so I thought that of bit of 'uniquely obtained' evidence would do the trick. Especially if this evidence belonged to the Jarl herself. I'm a highly trained sneak, so stealing it was easy. However, when it come to putting things in people's pockets, or breaking into a house, I fall short. That is where you come in. Interested?"

Ja'Raska listened to S'kvari's plan with the upmost interest. Normally he liked to avoid political affairs, especially when it meant getting on the bad side of either the Stormcloaks or the Imperials, but if he was just helping with part of her plan, it was different.
"Sounds easy enough," he told her with a grin, "I've been picking pockets and locks ever since I was a little cub. What, exactly, are we placing?"

"This." She said, pulling out one of Jarl Laila's favorite pieces of jewelry. "She will miss this. Very quickly. So I need you to hurry. You will be paid well for this. The faster you get it down, the more you get."

Ja'Raska stared at the jewelry with bright eyes. Naturally, as a thief and khajiit, he was attracted to shiny things. The cat knew better than to pocket the evidence and keep it for himself, that wasn't the way of the thief, so it was easier for him to reason with himself to part with the item. He did, however, want to go over the plan part by part one last time to make sure he did exactly what S'kvari wanted. Having an unsatisfied customer would ruin his reputation.
"So I am planting this item on the Stormcloak officer, yes?" He asked, doubling checking to make sure he understood her correctly. "If that is correct, all I have to know is where I can find this man and everything will fall into place after that."

"You'll find him in the Bee and Bard. Big, dark headed Nord. More than likely he will be in uniform so he should be fairly easy to spot. I'll wait here for you. Should you return successful, you'll get a nice sum of gold, and something else." She said, walking over and leaning against one of the walls.

"I shall get to work then! Wish me luck," Ja'Raska chuckled, taking the jewelry and slinking off. The khajiit trusted that his instrument would be safe if he left it there and even if it was gone when he got back, he could always save up for a new one. With that parting though, the cat left the courtyard of the Temple of Mara and headed onto the boardwalk and into the market. It was just a short jaunt away from the Bee and the Barb now and he already was working on his plan. Ja'Raska reached into his pocket and found a couple of little gold septims, which would be a big part of his plan.
When the Khajiit reached the door, he took a deep breath and headed inside. Nobody really noticed Ja'Raska when he walked in, he was a frequent customer and spent his fair share of septims there. Right away he began to look for the target and spotted him rather quickly. The man was big and dark headed, just like S'kvari said and had the uniform to match. His job was going to be rather easy since the nord seemed a bit drunk. In one hand, Ja'Raska held his decoy septims and his other hand, still in his pocket, held the stolen jewelry that was to be planted. When he got close enough to the man, Ja'Raska pretended to accidentally run into the edge of the chair, drop his septims to distract everybody, and as he fell to the ground he quickly put the jewelry into the man's pocket while he rubbed up against him. The nord kicked Ja'Raska away and it gave him a chance to get back his gold coins. Ja'Raska glanced at the Nord and saw that he hadn't noticed the new item in his pocket. Satisfied, the Khajiit trotted off and headed back outside.
Back at the sight of their meeting, Ja'Raska smiled at S'kvari and said, "Everything went as planned."

"Good. Let's watch." She purred, turning to look at the inn. Guards searched around the building before actually entering it. Soon though, they emerged, dragging a very confused Stormcloak General with them. The Legate gave a sly chuckle before turning back to Ja'Raska. "You did well, thief. Here, as promised." With that, she tossed a very heavy coinpurse at him.

Ja'Raska smiled contently as he saw the result of his work take place. He could remember a time where he used to feel guilty about stealing things and framing people for deeds they didn't actually do, but now it was immensely satisfying to see a job go smoothly. But he was even happier that S'kvari was pleased. The khajiit caught the coin purse and put it in his pocket, it was rather tacky to count coins in public, so he would do it later after he gave the guild a cut of the profits.
"I am glad that you are satisfied with my work," Ja'Raska chuckled, "So now that your job here is complete, what do you intend to do?"

"I'm probably going to get a drink, talk to Maven, then head back towards Solitude." She said, shrugging, "What about you? Going back down to your little pals to count the coin? Guarantee it will take a bit."
